Graziela Guardino’s inspiration comes from her inner feelings and experiences in the past and present.
She sees her work as a portrait of her thoughts, evoking different moods through paint that spontaneously blends colours.
She sublimates her love of nature into a language of pure abstraction.
A Brazilian-born Australian artist currently living in Hong Kong and studying a Master of Fine Arts at Hong Kong Art School (RMIT), Guardino has exhibited in group shows in Australia and Hong Kong. In 2015, Guardino was a finalist for a number of Art Awards, including the Muswellbrook Art Prize and the Fisher’s Ghost Art Prize.
With extensive knowledge in her artistic field, studying practices of colour and abstraction, Guardino persistently experiments with her perpetual ideas and creative flow. Her works accentuate the role of colour and composition.
