Nick Santoro is an emerging artist who enjoys exploring the uncanny scenes of everyday life in his artworks.
Nick has always been creative from a young age, He enjoys drawing, painting and using different materials on paper to create his works. "I prefer felt tip pens and oil pastels. Felt tip pens I find good because you don’t have to have a water container or brushes or solvents or anything around and you can just draw on any scrap of paper you find."
His current series involves a selection of animal portraits. "My artworks for the most part are portraits. When I’m not focusing portraiture I like to draw scenes from events I have seen or heard about or just hanging around my mind."
Nick Santoro is a Sydney based artist who is currently studying at UNSW College of Fine Arts.
