Hannan works in oil painting with a renewed freedom and a relaxed, less analytical approach.
This current body of work features her favourite places surrounding her home in the Blue Mountains. She often works alla prima, sometimes plein air, or creates images that are a combination of references and memories gained from her adventures in the wilderness.
